由中共上海市委對外宣傳辦公室、最愛上海市文化和旅游局、華寶上海廣播電視臺融媒體中心（SMG NEWS）聯合發起，貝第2023“愛上海的新西蘭想理由”青少年英語短視頻征集展播活動以“我最愛的中華寶貝”為題，誠邀全球新生代用向上的最愛風貌、良好的華寶英語表達和創意的鏡頭語言展現青少年眼中具有當代價值和世界意義的中華優秀傳統文化。幼時的貝第中國行，對新西蘭的新西蘭想Dino和Nini來說親切又新奇。無論是最愛雄壯威武的兵馬俑，爽滑勁道的華寶拉面，還是貝第熱情歡樂的廣場舞，都讓他們念念不忘。新西蘭想在這一集里，最愛Dino和Nini想對中國，華寶特別是貝第媽(ma)媽(ma)的(de)故(gu)鄉(xiang)上海說一句，我們在新西蘭(lan)很想你(ni)。

　　Dino：我6歲時到(dao)中國西(xi)安(an)游(you)玩。在西(xi)安(an)我見到(dao)了兵馬(ma)俑(yong)，讓(rang)我大(da)受(shou)震撼(han)。想象一下，用粘土制(zhi)(zhi)作的(de)士兵，保衛著古(gu)代的(de)皇帝。這些雕塑的(de)制(zhi)(zhi)作非(fei)常細致精良(liang)，顯示(shi)出當時工匠非(fei)凡的(de)創造性。

　　Nini：我(wo)(wo)(wo)最(zui)愛(ai)的(de)(de)(de)(de)中華(hua)寶貝(bei)是中國的(de)(de)(de)(de)美(mei)食。大(da)約(yue)在(zai)我(wo)(wo)(wo)4歲的(de)(de)(de)(de)時候，我(wo)(wo)(wo)們一(yi)家走(zou)在(zai)西(xi)安繁忙的(de)(de)(de)(de)街市上，我(wo)(wo)(wo)專注地(di)看一(yi)些(xie)人做面(mian)條。他(ta)(ta)們把(ba)面(mian)團(tuan)拉扯成(cheng)面(mian)條的(de)(de)(de)(de)樣子(zi)(zi)很酷(ku)。我(wo)(wo)(wo)驚嘆(tan)地(di)看著他(ta)(ta)們，以至于忘記我(wo)(wo)(wo)的(de)(de)(de)(de)爸(ba)爸(ba)媽(ma)(ma)(ma)媽(ma)(ma)(ma)已(yi)經走(zou)遠(yuan)了。好在(zai)最(zui)后(hou)他(ta)(ta)們終于找到我(wo)(wo)(wo)了。我(wo)(wo)(wo)媽(ma)(ma)(ma)媽(ma)(ma)(ma)教我(wo)(wo)(wo)們如(ru)何(he)做甜食，比如(ru)月餅和(he)粽(zong)子(zi)(zi)。她(ta)還(huan)教我(wo)(wo)(wo)們如(ru)何(he)包(bao)餛飩和(he)包(bao)子(zi)(zi)。我(wo)(wo)(wo)了解到，中華(hua)美(mei)食不僅僅是一(yi)種(zhong)味道，更包(bao)含了各種(zhong)美(mei)食背后(hou)的(de)(de)(de)(de)故事(shi)和(he)傳統習俗。

　　Dino：我非常期(qi)待盡(jin)快能再次(ci)來到(dao)中(zhong)國，探索更多的中(zhong)華寶貝。

　　I'm Dino. I’m Nini. We’re from New Zealand. Happy Chinese New Year.

　　Dino: Hello, my name is Dino.

　　Nini: Hello, my name is Nini.

　　Dino: When I was six years old, I visited Xi’an in China. That’s where I encountered the Terracotta Army, and it totally blew my mind. Imagine this: clay soldiers frozen in time, guarding their ancient emperor. Those clay statures are like incredibly detailed action figures that show how creative people were back then.

　　Nini: For me, the treasure in China is the food. I remember when I was around 4, we were in the busy street markets in Xi’an. I was watching someone make noodles and it was really cool the way they were stretching them and pulling them to make the shape of the noodles. I was so amazed that I didn't realize my parents have walked away without me. Long story short, they found me.

　　My mom teaches us how to make sweet treats like mooncake and rice dumpling. She also teaches us how to make wontons and baozi (steamed bun).

　　One thing I’ve learned is that Chinese food isn’t just about the taste, it’s about the stories and traditions behind each dish.

　　Dino: I hope to visit China some time against soon, and explore more of its treasures.

　　Nini: I can’t wait to go back to Shanghai, my mom’s hometown.
